Difference between Real Photo Process and Offset(Litho) Process
Real Photographic Process is a projection thru lens upon photographic emulsion.
It is a projection print while offset or inkjet process is contact print using inks.
Therefore real photo card will looks different from contact prints such as offset print or inkjet print.
When designing real photo cards, please do not use black letters on white area.
But white letters on black background will print good.

Notes about Color Matching and Pantone Colors:
Offset printing use CMYK color space and specify color inks using Pantone color system.
However, photographic process does not use ink and it works in RGB color space.
This is why we can not match
critical colors or Pantone colors on photographic process.

If your color specs matching
is critical to your job,  you would better use offset process on the condition of solo printing not gang printing which will cost high.
